ThermalCapture

ThermalCapture is a custom designed hardware which replaces the FLIR Tau VPC Module behind FLIR Tau 2 LWIR Thermal Imaging Camera Cores. It allows the user to store RAW data from these modules directly on a USB memory stick, together with additional information from external devices like micro unmanned aerial vehicles (MUAVs).

RAW Data is transformed into images during post-processing with the help of included software ThermoViewer. The needed parameters for conversion can be detected automatically. Those parameters can be changed afterwards manually by the user, to receive the perfect result for every case. ThermoViewer is available for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and Linux distributions.
